We’re delighted to announce a new addition to the programme, Young Company: Writers. If you of your young person are aged 12-18 and interested in writing for stage and screen, this is for you. The programme will run with a year-long curriculum (though you do not need to commit to the entire year), using the autumn term to build key skills like character, dialogue, setting and structure, before working on your own pieces and building towards a performance of new work in the summer. Join award winning writer Eleanor Dillon-Reams on a writing course with a difference. Fresh off the back of taking her two self written solo shows to Edinburgh Festival to critical acclaim, Eleanor will take you through exercises, games, tools and tips of how to make the blank page your friend.

Write on notebook and pen (or laptop if you prefer) and lets make something magic! Guaranteed to leave with a stimulated imagination and an eagerness to create and write your own stories for stage, radio or even screen, presenting a work in progress draft at the end of the course. Suitable for those who've never written, professionals, and those stuck with writers block. You don't need to prepare anything, come with an open mind and a willingness to try, and let's have some fun!
