Young Company: BethMac

Join us for our Spring Young Company show... a high-school set, gender-reversed musical version of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, the show follows the rise of star lacrosse player, Beth MacBride as she climbs the school hierarchy from teammate to team captain, to Senior Class President and finally to the pinnacle of the Dunsinane School Prize. At the urging of her boyfriend, Stewart, and the prophecies of 3 teenage goths, she disposes of the obstacles in her path. These come in the shape of Charlotte Duncan, current Class President, teammate Bianca and school heartthrob, Lane Anderson… Until finally, there is only one person in her way: little Miss Perfect, Alicia Macduff.
