Our classes span acting, dance, musical theatre, screen acting, writing, and performance, with tailored options for children, teens, and adults. Younger students can discover the joy of movement and imagination, while older participants refine their craft through focused technique, ensemble work, and full-scale productions. We also offer specialist opportunities like LAMDA exam preparation, our free Young Company and Writing programmes, and classes that support wellbeing and social connection, including those for adults aged 55+.

Acting - Juniors
Junior Acting is a fun, confidence-building journey into the world of performance. Through imaginative games, character work, and storytelling exercises, children learn to express themselves, work as a team, and bring their ideas to life on stage. Whether they’re bursting with energy or just starting to find their voice, this class helps young actors develop key skills like focus, creativity, vocal clarity, and stage presence.

Acting - Adults
Our Adult Acting classes are open to everyone: from complete beginners discovering the joy of performance to working professionals looking to sharpen their edge. With a range of class levels, we focus on developing a broad toolkit including improvisation, script analysis, physical storytelling, emotional connection, and presence under pressure. Whether you're building confidence, returning to the craft, or preparing for professional auditions, our classes offer a supportive, challenging space to explore your creativity, take risks, and grow as a performer

Acting for Screen
Screen Acting focuses on the craft and technique of performing for film and television. Across 12 weeks, students will develop key on-camera skills including subtle emotional expression, continuity, eye line, hitting marks, and working with close-ups and framing. With a focus on naturalism and truth, this class helps teens refine their performance style, build confidence in front of the lens, and understand the technical demands of screen work.

Pre-Junior Acting is a joyful introduction to the world of drama, perfect for little ones who’ve never done acting before. Through playful games, storytelling, and role play, children learn to express themselves, build confidence, and explore their creativity in a fun and nurturing environment. Each session is designed to spark imagination and develop key early skills like focus, listening, movement, and vocal expression.

A welcoming space to explore performance, meet new people, and enjoy the many benefits of creative expression. Whether you're new to acting or returning to it later in life, this class offers a gentle and engaging introduction to voice work, movement, character creation, and storytelling, tailored to suit your pace and experience. Beyond drama skills, the sessions are designed to support mental wellbeing, boost confidence, and foster social connection, making each week a chance to laugh, learn, and feel inspired. No previous experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to play!

Musical Theatre - Juniors
Junior MT is perfect for young performers ready to take their next steps in singing, dancing, and acting. Each week, students work on musical numbers, choreography, and character work, developing their vocal technique, stage presence, timing, and storytelling skills. This class helps children gain confidence, improve coordination, and learn how to work as an ensemble. Whether they’ve done a little performing or are eager to learn more, this is a vibrant, supportive space where they can stretch their creativity and shine on stage.

Pre-Junior MT is a magical introduction to the world of performance, perfect for little ones who love to sing, move, and use their imagination. No experience needed, just imagination! Each session blends simple songs, fun dance routines, and playful character work to help children build confidence, coordination, listening skills, and self-expression. Alongside the joy of performing, the class also supports key areas of early development like focus, communication, and working with others, making it a wonderful foundation for both the stage and the classroom.

Performance: Play in a Term
In our Performance classes, students work together to stage a full play in just one term, complete with lighting, set, costume, and a live audience. For those aged 11 and under, it’s a fun and supportive introduction to the rehearsal process, helping young performers build confidence, teamwork, and stagecraft. For ages 11–18, the focus deepens with more advanced text work, ensemble collaboration, and performance technique, offering a real taste of what it’s like to be part of a full-scale production.

Writing - Young Company
This is an exciting, free opportunity for young creatives aged 12 –18 to explore the art of storytelling across different mediums. Whether you're passionate about theatre, film, or podcasts, this course will help you develop your voice as a writer while learning the fundamentals of structure, dialogue, character, and writing for performance. With guidance from experienced tutors, students will create original pieces—and selected work will be brought to life by actors and shared with a live audience at our YATI Scratch nights.

We offer LAMDA exam preparation for all ages and levels, supporting students in developing their performance skills while working towards a nationally recognised qualification. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your technique, our tailored sessions help build confidence, clarity, and communication through acting.. Delivered by My LAMDA Tutor, this offer provides expert guidance and flexible support to help each student reach their potential.

Senior Acting is designed for young performers who are ready to deepen their craft and challenge themselves. Whether students are preparing for auditions, aiming for drama school, or simply passionate about acting, this is a space to grow with like-minded peers, receive professional-level guidance, and build the discipline and confidence needed for the stage and screen.

YATI ENCORE
(ages 8-13)
YATI ENCORE is a unique, 3-hour weekly class designed for young performers who want to explore the full spectrum of stagecraft. Unlike our single-discipline classes, YATI ENCORE offers an immersive experience in acting, singing, and dance all in one session. Over 12 weeks, students will rotate through each discipline, building a versatile skill set that strengthens their stage presence, vocal technique, movement, and storytelling. This class is perfect for those who love performing and want to stretch themselves creatively, gaining the confidence and adaptability that come from working across multiple styles.

Dance
Our Dance classes offer something for every age and stage. For children aged 11 and under, classes are all about fun, creativity, and building confidence through movement. With playful routines and and introduction to core skills, young dancers develop coordination, musicality, and self-expression in a joyful and supportive environment. For those aged 11–18, classes take a deeper dive into technique and performance, helping students refine their skills in choreography, strength, flexibility, and stage presence.

Our Musical Theatre class for 11–18 year olds is designed for committed young performers ready to refine their skills across acting, singing, and dance. Each session focuses on building technique, discipline, and performance confidence through challenging musical numbers, ensemble work, and character-driven storytelling. Students develop vocal strength, musical interpretation, choreography precision, and emotional connection, while learning how to bring scenes and songs to life with clarity and impact.

Acting - Young Company
Young Company is a free performance programme for young people aged 12+ who are ready to take their acting to the next level. Over the course of a term, participants rehearse and stage a full play or musical with the support of professional directors and technicians. From script to spotlight, students experience the full production process—including lighting, set, costume, and live performance, with high expectations and professional standards.

Look out for our panto at Christmas that will welcome auditions from anyone aged 4+.
