About the event
Our workshop will create a supportive environment to learn and understand about  exam anxiety and its impact on behaviour, thoughts and body. Attendees will discover and practise coping strategies and tools to manage exam-related stress and anxiety effectively. The workshop is designed to be fun and interactive. There are discussions with psychoeducation, fun active but informative games, mind mapping and at the end of session a relaxation exercise.

A little about us…
Genevieve Drury
Genevieve is an integrative psychotherapist with over 10 years’ experience working with young people. Having worked with a diverse range of needs, her work specialises in disadvantaged, at-risk and vulnerable young people inside and outside education. Genevieve has worked as a therapist for organisations focusing on complex trauma and systemic family work.  She now runs her own private practice where she works with adults and creatively with young people aged 11-18.
Miranda Obiora
Miranda is an integrative psychotherapist who has over 16 years of coaching experience before becoming a therapist. She is a MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) course Instructor along with workshop facilitator. As a therapist Miranda works in an embodied (somatic) way to help clients connect mind and body, with specialisms in trauma, neurodiversity and addiction. Miranda has worked as a therapist for organisations such as Place2Be with children 5–11 years of age. She now runs her own private practice working with adults and children.
Our credentials
Level 7, Integrative Psychotherapists who are accredited with BACP, adhering to their code of ethics. We are trained in therapeutic approaches including; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt, Short Term Solution Focused (STSF), Existential Therapy, Transactional Analysis (TA), Mindfulness and Somatic Therapy.
We both are passionate about empowering mental resilience through developing self-awareness, connecting to core values, and adopting coping strategies for individuals to feel more at ease within themselves.
