Feb Half-Term: Screen Acting (14-18yrs)

During this week you’ll work and develop your skills as a performer for acting on film, television & screen related media. Each day will focus on different techniques based off of various naturalistic practitioners such as Stanislavsky, Michael Checkov, Uta Hagan and other works, helping the actor develop their technique when in preparation for filming. We’ll be building on your existing skills and enhancing your confidence & comfortability on camera through filming short scenes, both devised & scripted throughout the week, as well as looking at influential scenes, performances & scripts. The days will focus on working with ease, developing the imagination of the actor and creating believable performances that will be filmed and edited together, towards a screening at the end of the week for friends and family.
